In 2011, Adobe released a beta version of its upcoming Flash Player 11 plug-in for Web browsers. Adobe Flash Player powers YouTube and other streaming-video websites, and this beta version features enhancements such as the ability to render complex 3-D graphics. Although the Flash Player 11 beta is intended primarily for software developers, end users can also install the beta to see how it performs with current websites.
